Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! π³π¬
Today, as our nation turns 66, I celebrate the Nigerians whose daily efforts keep our country movingβthe farmers, traders, teachers, workers, entrepreneurs and young people pursuing their dreams.
I know that many families are working hard to meet their everyday needs. Your hopes for affordable living, safer communities, better roads and opportunities for your children must continue to guide our work in government.
As Minister of Regional Development, my commitment is to work with our regional development commissions and partners to bring development closer to our people. Every region matters, and every Nigerian deserves the opportunity to build a better life.
Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubuβs Renewed Hope Agenda, we must keep working to turn hope into progress that families can feel in their homes and communities.
Whatever our language, faith or region, we share a desire for a Nigeria where honest effort brings reward and our children can face the future with confidence.
Let us keep supporting one another and building that Nigeria together.
Happy 66th Independence Anniversary. God bless Nigeria!
Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE
Honourable Minister of Regional Development
