Ovia has always had the strength in numbers. What we have always lacked is a voice that is bold enough to echo our needs in the corridors of power. That gap is about to be closed now with Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian as our voice at the green chambers.
With just one term at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Charity Aiguobarueghian has proved that representation is not about titles but about results. He spoke for the ordinary people. He sponsored motions that mattered. He facilitated projects that touched lives; from schools and healthcare support, to boreholes, markets, and youth empowerment across Ovia North East.
But Ovia needs more than state-level advocacy now. We need a louder voice at the Federal House of Representatives. A voice that can lobby for federal roads rehabilitations in Ovia North East and Ovia South West. A voice that can attract federal institutions, jobs, and opportunities for our youths,mothers and fathers. A voice that will not and can not be intimidated in Abuja.
Hon. Aiguobarueghian has the capacity, the temperament, and the courage for the job. He is articulate, he is accessible, and he is already tested. He does not make noise for noise sake. When he speaks, he speaks with facts, with law, and with the backing of the people.
The Obidient Movement, youth groups, market women, and community leaders across Ovia are already keying into this vision because they see in him a representative who listens first and delivers after.
With Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian in the Green Chambers, Ovia will no longer whisper. Ovia will speak. Ovia will be heard. Ovia’s voice will be much vocal and louder on matters of education, security, infrastructure, and economic development.
The time has come to promote excellence.
The time has come to raise Ovia’s Voice volume and CIA is well wired, prepared, and ready for the task..
