Celebrating Edo State at 35
Today, I join the good people of Edo State, at home and in the diaspora, to celebrate 35 years of Edo State and the remarkable journey we have made together.
Edo is a land blessed with rich history, resilient people, abundant human resources and enormous potential. From our great Benin heritage to the hardworking communities across our local governments, the strength of Edo has always been its people.
As we celebrate this milestone, let us also look forward with renewed hope and determination. We must continue to build a state where our young people have opportunities, our farmers and entrepreneurs are supported, our communities receive meaningful development, and every citizen can look to the future with confidence.
For us in Ovia Federal Constituency, this celebration is also a reminder that our collective strength lies in unity, service and purposeful leadership. May the next chapter of Edo State bring greater peace, prosperity, development and opportunities for all.
