HON. UZAMERE: THE BEACON OF HOPE IN OVIA NORTH-EAST CONSTITUENCY II
Hon. Andrew Edobor Uzamere is a beacon of hope in Ovia North-East Constituency II. For a very long time, our constituency had not felt the effects of representation until God sent Hon. Uzamere. Three and a half years of purposeful representation have wiped out memories of abandonment and the pains of self-centered leadership by previous representatives. The saying, “when the wicked are in power, the people weep, but when the righteous are in power, the people rejoice,” is synonymous with Ovia North-East Constituency II and Hon. Uzamere. The era of Uzamere as the member representing Ovia North-East II has been marked by limitless joy and hope for everyone.
Today, we can see what true and intentional representation looks like. We can see development everywhere. We can see growth and transformation in our great constituency. We can see projects and government initiatives that impact lives. All these have been made possible in just two and a half years because we have a leader who is also a father figure, one who genuinely cares about the overall welfare of his people.
His accessibility to everyone is another quality that should be studied by others. He is not a seasonal politician who appears once every four years. Uzamere has been very much on the ground with his people from the very first day of his inauguration as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. His true office is among his people and within his community.
As we anticipate the 2027 general elections, we should be reminded that a good workman deserves more work. Hon. Andrew Uzamere deserves a second tenure, not just to sustain but to consolidate on the progress made so far. Continuity is the bedrock of development. Let us support and re-elect Hon.
