MEET: H.E. SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO
Executive Governor of Edo State

From Udomi in Esan Central to the Edo State Government House, the journey of Senator Monday Okpebholo is a story of vision, resilience, enterprise and public service.

Born on 29 August 1970, Governor Okpebholo built a successful career in business before answering the call to public service. His journey took him from entrepreneurship into the Senate, where he represented Edo Central Senatorial District and served as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Procurement.

On 12 November 2024, he was sworn in as the Executive Governor of Edo State, beginning a new chapter in the state’s political and developmental journey.

His vision extends across infrastructure, economic growth, investment, empowerment and social development, with a strong emphasis on creating opportunities and building a better future for the people of Edo.

Beyond politics, his humanitarian initiatives through the Monday Okpebholo Foundation have supported communities through scholarships, healthcare and vocational empowerment.

Leadership is not just about occupying a position — it is about impact, responsibility and leaving a positive footprint.

A journey of vision.
A commitment to service.
A new chapter for Edo State.

The People’s Governor.
The People’s Progress.

The future of Edo is being built today.
