OVIA’S VOICE WILL ECHO LOUDLY WITH HON. CHARITY IGUODALA AIGUOBARUEGHIAN AS OUR REPRESENTATIVE
One of the greatest pains of Ovia Federal Constituency is that we have no voice in Abuja. Our representative goes to the National Assembly and becomes silent. Other constituencies are shouting for projects, for federal appointments, for intervention funds, but Ovia’s seat is empty in voice. Bills are being passed that affect our lives, budgets are being shared without our input, and opportunities are being given without Ovia being remembered. That must end. With Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian as our Representative, Ovia’s voice will echo loudly again.
Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian is not a learner. He is a tested legislator. As the Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, his job was literally to be the voice of the House. He spoke with courage, with knowledge and with conviction. He did not shy away from any debate. He understood every motion and every bill. He led with capacity.
That is exactly what Ovia Federal Constituency needs in the Green Chambers. We need a man who can stand up on the floor of the House of Representatives and speak for Ovia. A man who can argue for the rehabilitation of the Benin-Okada-Owo Road, for the control of erosion in Iguobazuwa and Okada, for the development of Gelegele Seaport, for federal support for our riverine communities in Ofunama and Inikorogha, for jobs for our teeming unemployed youths.
A silent representative is a wasted seat. Ovia Federal Constituency cannot afford to waste another four years.
Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian is vocal, bold, intelligent and respected. He has the legislative experience to become a principal officer in the House, which will bring even more advantage to Ovia. He is not going to Abuja to learn; he is going to perform.
For too long, we have whispered. It is time to shout.
With Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian, Ovia’s voice will no longer be silent. Ovia’s voice will echo loudly.
