Osun guber: APC will dislodge Adeleke, Deputy Senate President vows
Deputy Senate President (DSP), Barau Jibrin, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, will win the August 15 election.
The DSP made the declaration while speaking at the inaugural meeting of the party’s national campaign council, held at Kano State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
He said: “With the overwhelming support of the good people of Osun State across all 30 local government areas, we are confident that, by the grace of God, our candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), will emerge victorious in the governorship election scheduled for August 15 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“We sincerely appreciate the people of Osun State for their growing support and confidence in our candidate and party as we approach election day.”
Earlier in his remarks, Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Campaign Council, Senator Hope Uzodinma, appealed to members of the committee to give their best to the assignment they have been given by the national leadership of the party.
“The plan is to go and support our brothers and sisters in Osun State to win the forthcoming election. This meeting is not for merrymaking. It’s not for any jamboree.”
