I warmly join youths across Nigeria, and the world in celebrating International Youth Day 2026.
Today, we celebrate the energy, creativity, resilience, courage, and immense potential of young people. Youths remain a vital force in shaping the future of our communities, and our nation.
I recognize the important role young people play in promoting good governance, democratic participation, peace, development, innovation, and social progress. We therefore encourage our youths to remain committed to education, entrepreneurship, leadership, community service, and constructive participation in the democratic process.
I will continue to support initiatives that empower young people and create opportunities for them to contribute meaningfully to the development of our nation
On this special occasion, I call on all Nigerian Youths to remain united, hopeful, responsible, and determined to build a better future.
