HIGH DELEGATION FROM THE PALACE OF THE OBA OF BENIN VISITS DR. PADDY, SEALS HIS CANDIDATURE WITH BLESSINGS
Benin City, Edo State – The Candidate of the APC Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu who is going to represent Oredo Federal Constituency in the House of Representative in 2027 received a major boost today following a courtesy visit by a High Delegation from the Palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin.
The delegation, led by very senior Palace Chiefs, conveyed the goodwill, prayers, and royal blessings of His Royal Majesty to Dr. Paddy Iyamu and his campaign team over his philanthropic activities especially to the Holy Aruosa Church of the Oba. The visit, which took place at Dr. Paddy’s campaign office in Benin City, was described by the Chiefs as a demonstration of the Palace’s commitment to peace, unity, and purposeful leadership in Oredo and the Benin Kingdom at large.
Speaking on behalf of the Palace, the head of the delegation affirmed that the Oba of Benin remains the father of all and continues to pray for leaders who will uphold the values of service, integrity, and development. The Chiefs offered prayers for wisdom, strength, divine guidance, and electoral victory for Dr. Paddy as he seeks to take Oredo’s voice to the National Assembly.
They further emphasized that true leadership must be rooted in respect for tradition, unity of the people, and commitment to the growth of the constituency.
In his response, Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu expressed deep appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II and the entire Benin Royal Court for the honor and blessings. He described the royal visit as both humbling and motivating.
Dr. Paddy reaffirmed his commitment to uphold the rich culture and heritage of the Benin Kingdom while providing accessible, accountable, and development-driven representation for the people of Oredo at the National Assembly.
He stated:

My mandate is to ensure that every ward feels the impact of federal presence, that our youths are empowered, our women and MSMEs are supported, and that Oredo takes its rightful place in national discourse.”
