Let’s celebrate our State!
Today, we celebrate 35 years of our existence as a state. This is not just about marking a date, but about reflecting on our journey, acknowledging our achievements, and recommitting ourselves to the vision of a prosperous and developed Edo State.
From the ancient kingdom of Benin, a legacy of art, culture, and governance has been passed down through generations. Building on this foundation, Edo today stands as a beacon of pride, progress, and potential.
The task of building the Edo of our dreams is a collective responsibility. I call on every Edo son and daughter, at home and in the diaspora, to join hands with the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration as we move forward with unity, progress, and resilience.
As we mark this 35th anniversary, let us renew our hope and commitment to a brighter future. With God on our side and our collective effort, I am confident Edo State will rise to even greater heights.
