HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY ANNIVERSARY! NIGERIA AT 66
My Dear People of Akoko-Edo and Edo State,
On this momentous occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, I extend my warmest greetings, admiration, and heartfelt goodwill to every son, daughter, resident, and friend of Akoko-Edo and Edo State at large.
Today, as our nation celebrates 66 years of sovereign journey, we reflect not only on the sacrifices of our founding fathers but also on the extraordinary resilience, strength, and unwavering faith of our people. From the peaceful, ancient hills of Akoko-Edo to the vibrant heart beat of Edo State, our rich cultural heritage and industrious spirit remain a shining beacon of what makes Nigeria truly remarkable.
Independence Day is a profound reminder of our shared destiny. While our nation continues to navigate economic and social hurdles. The history Edo State has been one of endurance, ingenuity and triumph. I’m deeply convinced that the potential of our youths, the dedication of our workers, and the wisdom of our elders hold the key to a brighter, more prosperous future.
May this 66th anniversary bring renewed hope, peaceful coexistence, and boundless prosperity to every household in Akoko-Edo and across Edo State.
Happy Independence Day! God bless Akoko-Edo, God bless Edo State, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Warm regards,
-Dr. Adetutu Owolabi, Chairman Governing Council, Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology.
