As the representative of Ovia North-East Constituency 1 and the Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian showed what a legislator should be doing. He was not silent. He moved powerful motions on the floor of the House, sponsored bills that improved governance across our state, and more importantly, stood boldly for our people. While others disappeared after elections, he remained at home, attending ceremonies, weddings, community meetings, and empowering our fellow constituents. That is the spirit of representation Ovia Federal Constituency needs in Abuja.
Secondly, Hon Charity Aiguobarueghian understands Ovia’s problems deeply. He knows the agony of our people from Iguoshodin to Okada, from Ofunama to Udo. He knows our roads are deplorable, our riverine communities are neglected, our schools are underfunded, and our youths are unemployed. He is not a stranger who needs a tour guide. He is a son of the soil with a clear blueprint to tackle erosion, attract federal projects, secure jobs for our youths, and empower our men and women.
Thirdly, CIA has the legislative experience and political maturity that Abuja demands. Ovia Federal Constituency does not need a learner or a silent benchwarmer. We need a representative who will hit the ground running from day one. Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian is prepared, connected, and respected across party lines.
Ovia Federal Constituency has been cheated for too long by ineffective representation. We cannot afford another four years of silence and underrepresentation.
