THE JOURNEY TO A GREATER OVIA HAS BEGUN!
Yesterday, my heart was filled with gratitude as I joined our great family in the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Adolor Ward 04, at our first general meeting after the successful conclusion of the party primaries.
The overwhelming turnout at Ekiadolor Town Hall was more than just a meeting,it was a clear demonstration that our people are united, hopeful, and ready to chart a new course for Ovia Federal Constituency and Nigeria.
I sincerely appreciate our Ward Chairman, our respected leaders, executives, women, youths, and every committed party member who took time to attend. Your presence and enthusiasm have further strengthened my resolve to continue serving our people with honesty, humility, and unwavering dedication.
To everyone who stood by me throughout the primaries, I say “thank you”. Your confidence, prayers, encouragement, and sacrifices will forever remain a source of inspiration to me. This victory was never about one individual; it belongs to every member who believed that together we can build a better future.
I was deeply encouraged by the message of unity delivered by my brother, Comrade Asemota (aka Ugbudian), who publicly reaffirmed his support for all our party’s candidates. That spirit of unity is exactly what we need. Elections may produce different contestants, but once the process is over, we must stand together as one family with one purpose and one vision.
I also appreciate the wise counsel of our respected elder, Pa Osarenren, whose call for peace, inclusiveness, and unity reminds us that every village, every community, every youth, every woman, and every stakeholder has an important role to play in building a stronger NDC.
As I listened to the goodwill and encouragement from members, I was reminded that leadership is not about titles or positions. It is about service, sacrifice, accountability, and making a positive difference in the lives of the people.
The opportunity you have given me to represent you in the Edo State House of Assembly has allowed us to achieve meaningful progress together. By the grace of God, I am prepared to take that same passion, commitment, and people-centred leadership to the House of Representatives so that Ovia Federal Constituency can attract even greater development, more opportunities for our youths and women, stronger support for our farmers and entrepreneurs, improved educational opportunities, and quality representation that truly reflects the hopes and aspirations of our people.
The task ahead is great, but our determination is even greater. Let us continue to speak to our neighbours, reach every community, encourage new members to join our movement, and remain peaceful, united, and focused.
The future we desire will not be built by a few individuals,it will be built by all of us, working together with one heart and one purpose.
To every son and daughter of Ovia Federal Constituency, I extend my hand of partnership. Let us rise above division, embrace unity, and work together for the progress of our people.
The journey has begun, and by the grace of God, victory shall be ours.
Together, we will win. Together, we will serve. Together, we will build a greater Ovia and a better Nigeria.
