ETSAKO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY 2027: ANAMERO CALLS FOR ISSUE-BASED CAMPAIGNGS, REELS OUT FIRST TERM ACHIEVEMENTS, AND THE PROSPECTS AHEAD AS INEC OFFICIALLY LIFTS BAN ON CAMPAIGNGS.

(C) Global Watch Media.

My Dear Constituents, Leaders, Elders, Women, Youths and Good People of Etsako Federal Constituency,

Today, Wednesday, 19th August 2026, marks the commencement of another important phase in our democratic journey, as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifts the restriction on campaign activities ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

As campaigns officially commence for the Presidential, Senatorial, House of Assembly, Governorship and House of Representatives elections, I come before you with humility, gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility.

I come not merely as a candidate seeking your votes, but as your son, brother, representative and servant who has had the privilege of serving our people and working tirelessly to bring meaningful development and opportunities to our constituency.

Today, I ask you to judge me not by promises, but by my record of service, performance, accessibility, commitment and the tangible impact we have made together.

LET OUR RECORD SPEAK

My dear people, elections should not be about empty promises. They should be about trust, accountability, experience, capacity and measurable results.

Over the years, I have remained deeply committed to the development and welfare of our people. Through constituency projects, educational interventions, empowerment programmes, infrastructure, employment facilitation and community development initiatives, we have continued to make meaningful progress.

One of the initiatives particularly close to my heart is “OPERATION LIGHT UP ETSAKO.”

Through this initiative, solar-powered street lights have been distributed and installed across communities within our constituency, bringing illumination to places that for years struggled with darkness.

Operation Light Up Etsako is more than the installation of solar lights. It is about improving security, extending productive hours, supporting local businesses, creating safer communities and giving our people a greater sense of confidence and dignity.

From our towns and villages to our streets and communities, we are progressively lighting up Etsako.

Where there was darkness, we are bringing light.
Where there was uncertainty, we are bringing hope.
Where there were challenges, we are providing practical solutions.

And this is only one part of the story.

CREATING ACCESS TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Another area in which I have worked tirelessly is employment and access to opportunities within the Federal Government.

I have personally facilitated and supported the placement of a significant number of our constituents into various federal government employment opportunities and positions.

These are not merely numbers on paper. Behind every employment opportunity is a young man or woman who can now provide for a family, pay bills, pursue personal ambitions and contribute meaningfully to society.

For me, representation is not simply about sitting in the National Assembly.

Representation is about opening doors for our people.

It is about ensuring that when opportunities arise at the federal level, our constituency is not forgotten.

It is about using the position entrusted to me to ensure that our sons and daughters have a fair opportunity to participate in the Nigerian project.

And I will continue to do this.

WHY CONTINUITY MATTERS

My dear constituents, I am not claiming that we have done everything. There is still much more to be done.

But I am proud to say that we have started, we have delivered, and we have laid a solid foundation upon which we can build an even stronger future.

This is why I am asking you for your support once again.

Give me the opportunity to continue the work. Give me the mandate to consolidate the gains we have made. Give me the privilege to take our constituency to an even higher level of development and representation.

Continuity is not about holding on to office for its own sake.

Continuity is about sustaining what is working, improving what needs improvement and completing what we have started.

We cannot afford to abandon projects, programmes, opportunities and relationships that are already producing results.

We need a representative who understands the system, has built the necessary relationships and knows how to navigate the National Assembly and the Federal Government to attract more opportunities to our people.

I therefore humbly ask you to look beyond political rhetoric and ask yourselves:

Who has served you?
Who has stood with you?
Who has delivered?
Who has remained accessible?
Who has opened doors of opportunity for our people?
Who has brought development to our communities?
Who has continued to work even when nobody was watching?
And who has the experience and capacity to do even more?

I believe the answer is clear.

WE HAVE MORE WORK TO DO

My aspiration is not simply to return to the House of Representatives.

My aspiration is to return with renewed energy, greater experience and a stronger determination to deliver more for our people.

I want us to build on the work already done across our communities.

I want to see more roads and infrastructure.

I want more communities illuminated through initiatives like Operation Light Up Etsako.

I want more educational opportunities for our children and youths.

I want more empowerment programmes.

I want more employment opportunities.

I want more federal government interventions.

I want our women to have greater access to opportunities and support.

I want our young people to have greater access to skills, jobs, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.

And I want our constituency to remain a strong and respected voice at the National Assembly and within the Federal Government.

OUR VOTE IS OUR POWER

My dear constituents, this election is bigger than one individual.

It is about the direction we want our constituency to take.

It is about whether we choose continuity over disruption, experience over experimentation, performance over promises, and proven capacity over uncertainty.

I am asking you to stand with me.

I am asking our elders to continue to guide me.

I am asking our leaders to continue to support the vision.

I am asking our women to believe in the possibility of an even better tomorrow.

I am asking our youths to stand with a representative who believes deeply in their potential.

And I am asking every voter in Etsako to remember that your vote is your voice, your power and your investment in the future of our constituency.

APC — TOGETHER, WE MOVE FORWARD

I am also asking you to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Presidency down to the Senate and House of Representatives.

A strong working relationship between our constituency, the National Assembly, the State Government and the Federal Government is critical to attracting greater development, employment and opportunities to our people.

We must therefore work together to ensure that our votes strengthen the team that can deliver more.

A vote for APC is a vote for continuity, stability, progress and greater opportunity.

A vote for me is a vote for experience, performance, representation and continuity.

Let us not allow politics to divide us. After the election, we will all remain one people. Let us campaign with dignity, respect one another and focus on issues that will improve the lives of our people.

I will continue to reach out to every community, ward and stakeholder.

I will continue to listen.

I will continue to engage.

I will continue to facilitate opportunities.

I will continue to attract development.

And I will continue to work tirelessly for the people who entrusted me with their mandate.

My dear people, I have served you. I am still serving you. And I am asking for the opportunity to serve you even better.

Together, we can do more.

Together, we can consolidate our achievements.

Together, we can light up more communities.

Together, we can create more opportunities for our youths.

Together, we can attract more federal government interventions.

Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous and more united Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency.

As we commence this campaign, I make you a solemn commitment:

I will never take your support for granted.

Your mandate is a sacred trust, and I will continue to carry it with humility, courage and an unwavering commitment to the progress of our people.

The journey continues.
The work continues.
The impact must continue.
The light must continue to shine.

For continuity.
For sustainability.
For greater impact.
For development.
For opportunity.
For our people.
For our future.

I humbly ask for your votes and your continued support.

Vote APC.
Vote Rt. Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri (Danco).

Vote for Greater Impact.

2027: TOGETHER, WE MOVE FORWARD.

With profound gratitude and an unwavering commitment to our people,

Member, House of Representatives, Etsako Federal Constituency.
APC Candidate, 2027 House of Representatives Election.
