Ex-Edo PDP Woman Leader Attoh Hails Tinubu’s Appointment of Oshiomhole, Shaibu and Olejeme to APC Presidential Campaign Council

ABUJA – Former Executive Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Council and immediate past Edo State PDP Woman Leader, Hon. (Princess) Benedicta Attoh, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the confidence reposed in Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Comrade Philip Shaibu and Dr. Ngozi Olejeme with their appointment as members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

Attoh expressed confidence that the trio will bring their extensive grassroots experience, strong intra-party networks and longstanding relationships across the South-South region to bear in mobilising massive support for President Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 general elections.

She noted that the combined political experience and grassroots credentials of Oshiomhole, Shaibu and Olejeme position them to make significant contributions to the campaign.

According to her, Oshiomhole and Shaibu, with their wealth of political and campaign experience, have demonstrated the capacity to navigate challenging political tides, reconnect with the people and build strong grassroots support. She described their new roles as both a responsibility and an opportunity to deepen engagement with the masses and strengthen the APC’s connection with the people.

In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, the former council chairman also described Dr. Ngozi Olejeme as a respected grassroots mobiliser whose impact in human capital development extends across the South-South region and beyond.

She said: “As the Osho-quake of Africa, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole brings tremendous political experience, grassroots reach and campaign expertise to the table. Working alongside the football Starboy of the Nation, Comrade Philip Shaibu, who is renowned for his nationwide mobilisation capacity, makes this combination particularly formidable.”

Attoh said the ultimate objective of the campaign must be to secure a renewed mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and enable him to consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She added: “Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the football Starboy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, with their extensive goodwill and networks across the South-South, represent the right people for this important assignment. Their collective experience and reach will be invaluable to the campaign.”

She urged the three appointees to deploy their experience, grassroots relationships and commitment to public service to mobilise support for the President, stressing that the message of continuity must reach every community and household across the South-South.

“As comrades who understand the political terrain, we trust their capacity to engage the people, communicate the policies, programmes and achievements of the Tinubu administration, and give Nigerians the opportunity to make an informed decision about the future of our country,” she said.

Attoh particularly congratulated Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, whom she described as “the most impactful Mother of the South-South and the joy of the airwaves,” noting that her presence continues to energise political and community gatherings because of her uncommon impact and extensive human capital development initiatives across the region.

She expressed optimism that the new members of the Presidential Campaign Council will work collectively with other stakeholders to strengthen the APC’s grassroots structures and deliver a resounding victory for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
