Edo State at 35: Uzamere felicitates with Governor Monday Okpebholo, Edolites.
Member representing Ovia North-East Constituency II in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Andrew Edobor Uzamere has felicitated with His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Executive Governor of Edo State and Edolites on the auspicious occasion of the 35th anniversary of the creation of Edo State.
In a statement, Uzamere described the 35th anniversary of the creation of Edo State as a ‘Legacy of Resilience, Peace, and Development’
In his remarks,
“It is with great pride and gratitude that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo and the good people of Edo State as we commemorate the 35th anniversary of the creation of our dear state.
Edo State no doubt is a Cradle
of civilization. Our rich cultural heritage is our pride.
Today presents an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable journey we have undertaken from humble beginnings to a state known for resilience, peace, and progress. We pay special tribute to our founding fathers whose vision, courage, and sacrifice made State State a reality in 1991. Their legacy continues to inspire our path forward.
Over the years, with the support of our people and the grace of Almighty God, Edo State has made laudable strides in governance, education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment. I deeply appreciate the unwavering commitment and cooperation of all citizens in shaping our shared success.
As we celebrate this milestone, I pray for continued peace, prosperity, and unity across our communities. May Edo State grow stronger in purpose and brighter in promise.
Since the assumption of office, the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration, Edo State has made significant progress in the area of Infrastructure, Health care, Education, Agriculture, among others. For that reason, let us all join hands with the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration to building a greater Edo State for this generation and those yet to come.
On our part as legislators, we will continue to collaborate and partner with the state government to foster peace, growth and development in Edo State.
