Ugbome Hails Nigerian Youths On International Youth Day 2026.
International Youth Day 2026 gives us an opportunity to recognise the role young people continue to play in building stronger and more inclusive communities. I celebrate young people who are turning their ideas into action through leadership, community development, public policy, advocacy, and service. My own journey has shown me that when young people are given opportunities and trusted with responsibility, we can contribute meaningfully to the development of our communities.
Young people should not only be seen as beneficiaries of development, but as active partners in shaping the policies and solutions that affect our future.
Let us continue creating opportunities for young people to lead, participate, speak up, and make a real difference in society.
