You gave your youth, your resources, your love and your sacrifices. Then, in your old age, when your strength is fading, you discover that the child you believed was biologically yours isn’t.
The tragedy is not that the child isn’t yours. The tragedy is that someone deliberately denied you the truth and the freedom to choose.
DNA TEST: YES OR NO?
My answer is a resounding YES!
I am completely in support of normalising DNA testing.
No man deserves to spend decades living a lie because someone he trusted chose to conceal the truth.
Let me be absolutely clear: The child is innocent and deserves love, protection and dignity. Fatherhood is much more than biology, and many wonderful men knowingly raise children who are not biologically theirs.
But there is a world of difference between choosing to raise another person’s child and being deceived into doing so.
Motherhood should never be used as a licence for deception, and marriage should never become a hiding place for dishonesty.
Trust is earned, not automatically acquired. And genuine trust should never be afraid of the truth.
A woman who knowingly conceals a child’s paternity is not merely keeping a secret. She is potentially rewriting several people’s lives without their consent.
I believe every man deserves the truth, every woman deserves fairness, and every child deserves to grow up without becoming a victim of adult deception.
Now, let’s have an honest conversation.
Should DNA testing become routine, or should a man simply trust his wife without questioning paternity?
MEN AND WOMEN, I WANT TO HEAR FROM BOTH SIDES!. ๐๐ฅฐ
